1. How do you start your working day?
I start each day with a nice bowl of yoghurt and then I take public transport. Here I listen to music or watch a series, so I can start the day in a relaxed way. At the office, I always immediately open my mail and see what I need to do for the day. I write these items on my to-do list, that way I clearly know what to do.
2. What are your activities on a day?
I have a lot of different work in a day and that makes it so much fun to start again every day. I started by creating, scheduling and analysing newsletters for different platforms. Later, scheduling newsletters was added. With this, I actually do the entire process around the newsletters, which also brings with it some responsibility, which I think is really cool as an intern.
In between, I also produced products for one of our platforms. With this, I was allowed to help with project management. This meant that I got to format platforms for customers. I also really enjoy this, because you get to see how a platform is built layer by layer.
In short, my internship is very broad.
3. Which project or final product to which you contributed makes you proud?
I have not yet worked on a final product or project, as I have been an intern at Touch for three months now. I am, however, proud of how quickly I have made newsletter creation my own. This gave me quick opportunities within other departments at Touch. Internally, they found that I grasped everything quickly and did a good job, so I gained a lot of confidence and I do take pride in that as an intern within an organisation.
4. What makes your job so enjoyable?
I get a lot of satisfaction from the different work I have. Being a trainee, I work in many different departments and basically support almost all colleagues in the Promotions department. It is fun working with everyone and the ping pong table in the office also makes it extra cosy!
