1. How do you start your working day?
After getting up I immediately grab my phone so that I can check the emails. Between breakfast and driving to the office, I keep a close eye on the incoming emails. I can’t deny that email is very important for me to communicate with everyone, internal and external. Besides, I increasingly use Whatsapp for example.
2. What are your activities on a day?
My work mainly consists of drawing up contracts and discussing what is in those contracts. I do this internally, with customers and increasingly with suppliers, but also with providers of products and services that we include in our savings programs or incentive campaigns. I also consult with the acceptors of our gift cards.
3. Which project or final product to which you contributed makes you proud?
I am most proud of my contribution to coordinating and negotiating contracts throughout the process for Mentha Capital to participate in the Touch Group. This allows Touch to grow considerably in the coming years.
4. What makes your job so enjoyable?
I love to do both drafting and negotiating contracts! It’s important to write down what we do and what we don’t do, as well as what happens when a certain situation arises that we both hope never happens. It is important to discuss this prior to a collaboration. Ultimately, of course, this also has to be put on paper. Sometimes that means looking for the right description that covers all agreements well. Sometimes that goes very smoothly, and sometimes we need a little longer before we are on the same page.
