1. How do you start your working day?
As soon as I am inside, I say hello to my colleagues and walk to the kitchen to grab some water and some nice strong coffee! To get an overview of the day, I check my diary to see what tasks need to be done. I also check my mail and answer incoming e-mails where necessary. Once I’ve done that, I’m ready to really start the day!
2. What are your activities on a day?
I start my day by answering incoming emails. Then I often work on the newsletters for our customers of various Loyalty programmes. As an intern, there are several things I do within different departments of Touch. For example, in addition to newsletters, I also help set up and send invoices in our Promotions Retail department.
Supporting our Service team also occasionally comes up on my schedule. By helping customers over the phone with any questions they may have, you yourself get to know the company faster.
So what my day looks like is very different and I do all kinds of things. That variety is what makes it so much fun!
3. Which project or final product to which you contributed makes you proud?
When I started my internship, I started helping with the migration pretty much right away, where we converted our platforms to a new system. I had also linked my school portfolio to this project. In this process, I learnt a lot and I am very proud of this learning process!
4. What makes your job so enjoyable?
The varied work makes it a lot of fun for me to get to work. Together with a flexible working environment and pleasant colleagues, this makes it a lot of fun for me to work here!
